We will have our housing manager under take monthly housing inspection, however should additional house inspections be required as and when including emergenciesRest Housing will ensure that the following key areas are incorporated in our approach for inspection monthly and or as when required should changes occur and immediately should urgent concerns arise.
• Damp & Mould: Improve ventilation, install dehumidifiers, and repair leaks to prevent moisture buildup.
• Heating & Insulation: Upgrade heating systems, install proper insulation, and ensure windows are energy-efficient.
• Electrical Safety: Conduct regular inspections, replace outdated wiring, and install residual current devices (RCDs).
• Fire Safety: Provide smoke alarms, fire doors, and ensure escape routes are clear and accessible. Annual certified inspections; quarterly evacuation drills.
• Trip & Fall Hazards: Repair loose flooring, improve lighting, and install handrails on stairs.
• Sanitation & Water Supply: Maintain plumbing systems, ensure proper drainage, and prevent contamination risks.
